OOOH love the stone wall! Good job, Len! Everything looks great! I have some of those purple ones, too with the bright gold beards; they're lovely! I don't know the name but it's a fairly old heirloom variety. I planted some in a guerrilla garden spot near the community vegetable garden which has since gotten a bit trashed but the irises are still there; today when I went to water them two of these had been snipped! Hopefully the ones next to the community garden itself will remain intact long enough for me to get pics! There's about eight varieties planted!
Oh, I hope you can get pics before the secret snippers find them! We went stone scouting in the woods and found more rocks up on the hill. So, a work in progress here and a New England tradition in chipmunk scale. (They think we are building the wall just for them.)
